Multi-layered and complex, this wine exhibits the sous bois profile, with flavors encompassing mushrooms, juniper berries, and leather. Still evolving, this wine will continue to improve and mature over the next two years, and will age well in the cellar for up to 10 years.

2005 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon $22
This wine is deep, subtle, but seductive with hints of black cherries and plums that give way to a smooth finish of chocolate and coffee bean. This wine was aged in French oak barrels for eleven months to give it a touch of vanilla bean. This wine is drinking superbly now, and will age well for another three to five years.
